Delft Candlestick, squarish socket surround, vase form column with square plinth and everted, square foot, decorated in blue flower motif with windmills and fishing boats-has four miniature scenes around the four sides of the base, interior of hollow foot marked in blue: P. B. Delft within a triangle, N.D. below and 25 to one side. 8 1/4" high. The maker is: N.V. Plateelbakkerij Delft / Hilversum. From my books this piece "might" date between1898-1928. 20th century.
